The tourist resort called 'Nodu pianu' (‘flat knot’ in the Sardinian language) was built in the late 70s in a very exclusive location, one of the few facilities directly on the sea on the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, near the Emerald Coast.

The 'Nodu pianu' resort lies midway between the towns and ports of Olbia (8 Km) and Gulf of the Oranges (7 Km). Completely immersed in the typical Mediterranean forest it stretches on a picturesque promontory, in front of the unique and magnificent Tavolara Isle.Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo are respectively about 15 and 30 km from the resort.
